How to make your own Veg Spring Rolls!

Delicious Veg Spring rolls

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup Veggies ( Mushrooms, Carrots, Ginger, Capsicum or anything of your choice)

  2. Paneer or Tofu

  3. Soya Sauce

  4. Aginomoto(MSG)

  5. Spring roll pastry sheets (Here's where you can find them https://www.amazon.in/Switz-Spring-Roll-Sheets-250g/dp/B015CE18L8)

  6. Pepper

  7. Corn Starch

  8. Oil


Procedure:

Preparing the filling

  1. Preparation of vegetables and paneer: Chop the vegetables in small pieces, specifically Julien cut (aka long pieces). This will make sure that the veggies are cooked uniformly.

  2. Cut the tofu or paneer into small cubes, apply oil and mix them thoroughly using your hand or a spatula.

  3. Take a non stick pan and put some oil onto the pan. Make sure that there is only enough oil to glaze the surface. Remove excess oil from pan if needed.

  4. Now add the veggies and paneer into the pan and fry for about 10 minutes. This is a crucial step so make sure you don't overcook them!

  5. Add Aginomoto, pepper and a light amount of soya sauce, mix and keep aside for resting for about 5-10 minutes.

Making the roll

  1. Place the fries ingredients on the spring roll sheets.

  2. Use some mayonnaise on the edges of the sheet and roll it.

  3. Use the corn starch to dip the roll into it and deep fry.

  4. Turn them over while frying and take them out once they get a golden brown color.

  5. Pair it with a dipping sauce or even tomato sauce will do.

And there it is - Voila! Your Veg spring rolls are ready to be eaten :)
